My client are a leading provider of technology to the automotive sector with major clients including Aston Martin. The current requirement is for a Product Test Manager who will be responsible for ensuring end to end functional quality of all components across software and hardware platforms prior to release to customers. The role will require experience of leading and delivering Quality Testing across internet, GSM communications and PCB custom hardware components as well as UAT. The role will be quite hands on (70%) and will involve in vehicle testing of tracking and infotainment systems.Ideally you will have a background in Telecoms with a knowledge of Testing technologies such as Bluetooth, GPS, GSM, GPRS, TCP/IP. Windows CE or Windows Mobile platforms would be beneficial as would knowledge of electronics components and PCB engineering. 30% of the role will be managerial so any team lead / management experience is highly desirable.
