Chief Architect - Data Centre/Hosting

Europe's fasted growing telecoms provider is looking for a Chief Architect to run the central Hosting Engineering group within the organisation and be responsible for all aspects of the group. The company has 8 Managed Data Centres which support the Managed Hosting product; this position needs to work closely with the Data Centres to ensure that the organisation provides a competitve offering across its footprint. You will be responsible for interacting with the Product and Sales teams as well as local Data Centre teams to gather requirements, document solutions, and act as development lead and project manager in delivering the platform/service offering. Additionally, you will advise on products and services as to financial and operational models for platforms and services, dependent on vendor and underlying platform SLAs and costs. The successful candidate will also define deployment and support processes for platform and services, and the associated BSS/OSS/NMS data and monitoring requirements. You must have a minimum of 5 years experience working within hosting-centric/data centre centric roles with knowledge of; - Virtulisation Virtuoso (VMWare ESX 3, Xen) - Redhat ES 4, 5, Windows 2003/8 and Solrais 10 build and patch management in a Hosting Centre environment - Dell, HP, Sun, SuperMicro, F5, Netapp, Cisco and Juniper deployment and management experience - Experience of storage solutions including DAS, NAS and SAN - IP networking experience (within a data centre) If you are a conscientious team player with a strategic vision to create/sutain cross-business relationships and the above required skills then please submit your CV asap for my immediate attention.
