IT Technical Support Engineer - Midlands

Company Working for an established IT Services and Solutions consultancy, you will be providing IT Technical Support for our warehouse and distribution centre in Crick. Our client is one of the UK's most successful IT providers. Established in 1990, the company delivers IT solutions for a wide range of customers, backed by unrivalled levels of service. Account management and customer service teams are experienced IT professionals who offer a consultative approach to service and solution delivery, working closely with customers to establish a genuine understanding of their entire business, plans and objectives. Operating from headquarters in London, with additional offices in the City, Basingstoke, Exeter, Swansea and Middle East. Role This will involve providing technical support for our main warehouse and distribution centre based in Crick. You will be provided with all the necessary tools to provide first class timely support. You will receive incoming IT support calls from employees with problems relating to desktop software, email, and server applications. You will provide support by advising and directing people over the phone and being in position to fix the problems hands on where required. Essential Requirements / check list * You must be able to demonstrate at least one year's previous experience working in an IT Support role * You will have excellent Desktop Software skills kelpaq's, MAC's, Server etc * Familiar with a broad range of server applications such as IIS, Exchange, Active Directory etc * Familiar with network technologies such as WINS, DNS TCP/IP * Have good troubleshooting skills for a wide range of hardware platforms in particular HP * You must be able to drive and have your own transport * We are looking for permanent employees only * Lots of enthusiasm - good communicator PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU CAN ANSWER YES TO ALL OF THE ABOVE.
