Job purpose: Shift Working Responsible for the Administration and Technical Control of Commissioning / Senior / Principle Engineers. Key responsibility areas: Functionally responsible for providing Technical Support and a service in one / or more any of their following areas: Operation and Maintenance of the SMITE Facility. Commissioning of equipment and systems associated with Astute Class MPMP's and Other Major Modules. Commissioning of equipment and systems associated with Astute Class Auxiliary Machinery. Provision of Specialist Instrumentation Measurement Services to support the Submarine Business Unit. Additional information: Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel who feel they have the ability to fill the above position based in Barrow. As a member of the SMITE Electrical / Instrumentation section you will be responsible for the Administration and Technical Control of Electrical / Instrumentation Commissioning Engineers at various levels. Areas covered by Electrical / Instrumentation Project Leaders in SMITE include: Operation and Maintenance of the SMITE Facility. Commissioning of equipment and systems associated with Astute Class MPMP's and Other Major Modules. Commissioning of equipment and systems associated with Astute Class Auxiliary Machinery. Provision of Specialist Instrumentation Measurement Services to support the Submarine Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for one / or more of the above areas.Deputise when appropriate for the SMITE Electrical & Instrumentation Manager. HND / HNC in an Electrical / Instrumentation Discipline. Shift WorkingShift Co-Coordinator during MPMP Trials in SMITE. TAC Europe Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
