THE POSITION

Following the acquisition of several major new clients we are looking to add a number of experienced developers to our existing RIA team. We are looking for web developers with experience in both Actionscript 3 (preferably Flex focused), PHP and / or Java, and CSS/HTML construction.

This position is reliant on strong problem solving, strategic thinking and planning, the ability to implement good development practices and a desire to maintain high overall coding quality.

Other technologies utilised on a regular basis in addition to Actionscript 3 and PHP include, but are not limited to Javascript (jQuery, Mootools), Python (Django, web.py), Java (J2EE, JSF, Seam), SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle.

THE OPPORTUNITY

? Develop bespoke solutions for a diverse range of clients using the latest technologies
? Support and enhance existing products
? Design technical solutions and write technical requirement specifications.
? Accurately estimate project timescales and deliver to those estimates.
? Implementation of solid unit testing
? Work to our processes to ensure compliance with our ISO9001 certification for overall deliverable quality.
? Work with the support departments to resolve cases
? Report on the status of projects to internal management

Web Applications Developer / Web Developer Required Skills:

? A proven track record of producing high quality applications / websites with commercial development experience
? Experience with MVC frameworks (preferred)
? Experience of using asynchronous (web service) calls (Preferred)
? Have a solid understanding of engineering applications especially in areas such as Object Oriented techniques, complex GUIs, N-Tier application architectures etc. (preferred)
? Experience of database design and implementation
? Linux server administration (preferred)
