Data Modeller- Current SC security clearance required

Data Modeller Based in Reading Contract until Jan 2010 Paying £350-£400/day ***Current Security Clearance required to SC level *** My client is a market leading developer and supplier of communications and IT systems across the Public Safety, Criminal Justice and local/central Government sectors. The role will be working as a Data Modeller working on a critical Public Sector project. A substantial application development programme is under way, based on use of a range of technologies including Java EE, Oracle Service Bus (BEA Aqualogic), Oracle/BEA WebLogic Server and Oracle RDBMS. As part of this development, we have a need for a Data Modeller to help create the Logical Data Model as the project requirements are analysed and defined. The role will be to work with the business requirements team in order to liaise with the customer to identify their information requirements to enable the production of a logical data model. Key skills: - Working with a customer to undertake the analysis of their requirements - Taking a customer's information requirements and undertaking data modelling - Production of a logical data model including entity-relationship diagrams Key experience required: - Experience of Rational RequisitePro - Experience of Rational Software Modeler - Police or Public Sector experience - ***Must have current SC clearance *** The role is within the overall programme reporting to the project's Information Architect.
