Senior Sharepoint Engineer - Investment Bank - route into Team Leader

This group provides solutions across Business Intelligence, Development & Collaboration Tools as well as Middleware, & facilitates governance of the technology lifecycle through the Technology Council. The team support SharePoint as an enterprise solution for Barclays Capital, focussing on customising SharePoint to meet specific business requirements. The successful candidate will work on the SharePoint portal as a developer to assist in development advice & best practices globally. He/she will work in an environment where communication is required from developers to superior members of the business. The environment is rapidly changing to cope with both the needs of the business & to take full advantage of new technologies & to implement these. The position requires an interest in the whole information life cycle as well as holistic knowledge of technology & in particular SharePoint Skill set must include - Experience with SharePoint 2007 as a developer, ASP.Net development with AJAX, .Net development background
