Visio has posted a free beta version of Visio Internet Assistant, an add-on for its eponymous diagramming software that lets users create Web pages with its hallmark shapes, symbols and connectors.

As well as delivering HTML format complete drawings, users can link shapes between drawings and export to JPEG and PNG file formats. Visio can be contacted by telephone on 00 353 1 661 2036.
