Creative Labs has announced the 3D Blaster PCI card, a successor to its unsuccessful VL-bus 3D Blaster games card of last year.

3D Blaster PCI boasts high-quality texturing and support for resolutions of 800 x 600 at 16-bit colour, running at real-time frame rates. It will cost around £199 including VAT and ship from October.

Creative also added Internet features to its Sound Blaster 16, Sound Blaster 32 and AWE 32 sound cards. Each now includes Microsoft's Internet Explorer 2.0, Creative's Webphone telephony app-let, and Progressive's RealAudio sound player. All prices for the cards remain the same.

Creative Labs can be contacted by telephone on 01628-522122.
