Microsoft will next week publish a new beta version of the FrontPage Web publishing application it bought last year from startup Vermeer Technologies.

The full release is planned to include support for ActiveX, Java and JScript, Microsoft's implementation of JavaScript. Users will also be able to code and edit HTML from within the program.
