Time ships first 6x86MX PR266-based PCs

UK direct seller Time Computer Systems kicked off for IBM's 6x86MX PR266 processor yesterday, becoming the first firm in the country to ship systems based on the 266MHz Pentium II-class part.

Time's Colossus 266M-2 Ultimate PC with 64Mb EDO RAM, 8.6Gb hard drive, 8Mb ATI Rage Pro graphics card, TV tuner card, 56K voice modem, 32-speed CD-ROM and Lotus SmartSuite and software bundle costs from £1,269 + VAT.
