At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Atlanta, IDSA president Doug Lowenstein announced that computer games are considered to be the most exciting way to spend time at home.
In the survey, over 41 percent of respondents rated computer games as the most fun form of home entertainment, beating TV (21.6 percent), reading books (12.3 percent), watching films (11.3 percent) and browsing the Internet (8.2 percent).
Despite the new data, TV still consumes over 18 hours a week for the average consumer, topping the 8.6 hours dedicated to playing games.
