Cable and Wireless teams up with PC World

Cable and Wireless has teamed up with PC World to lure customers online with a whole raft of 'very best' incentives for potential customers.

This time the catch is that customers must buy a computer from PC world and subscribe to the Cable and Wireless telephone service. They will then be offered either a range of guaranteed discounts on local and national calls, a cut-price PC and 200 minutes of free Internet calls at weekends.

As with other cheap PC offers, there is the condition that a minimum amount must be spent on calls each month. Alternatively, to qualify for cheaper calls, Cable and Wireless users must make at least £4.50 of local, national and international calls each month.

A PC world spokesperson maintains that this is the most tempting incentive offered so far: "We've got a deal that gets you free weekend access to the Internet or up to £300 off any new PC we sell. That's an offer that no-one can beat."
