Raymond, who once organised a meeting for Linux technical enthusiasts at a firing range with the title: "Geeks with guns" said that all that remains is for someone to invite him over.
Raymond seemed slightly perplexed by the growing celebrity status of himself and other open-source crusaders. "I don't act like a rock star, do I? No more than Linus. I'm a technical person."
"All this," said Raymond pointing to the crowds of Linux enthusiasts gathering around Torvalds' feet "is just a political game that Linus and I get reluctantly get drawn into."
