Microprocessor maker AMD took the wraps of a new 750MHz version of its budget Duron microprocessor Tuesday targeting cost-conscious home and business users.
PC manufacturers IBM and Compaq also confirmed Tuesday their intention to stock systems using the Duron 750MHz microprocessor in coming weeks.
