At the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco, Marc Benioff, chairman and chief executive of Salesforce.com, announces the company's latest venture.

With Force.com Sites, customers can build, host and allow individual users to customise a public web page using Force.com technologies.

Along with Parker Harris, Salesforce co-founder and executive vice president of technology, Benioff demonstrates how New Jersey Transit uses Sites to keep their riders updated — even on the go with an iPhone or BlackBerry.
