Doing it as timidly as the title suggest will only yield disappointing results. It won't sell and then they'll say that Linux is not a big enough market for such products, giving bad sounds to the rest of the market, courtesy of their main shareholder.

I found a hit on the internet that said it could do that called "Clickandconvert" - but it isn't working.
Why is Microsoft so TOTALLY INADEQUATE to handle Word Perfect ? ? ? All the computers made now make Word Perfect seem obsolete. I refuse to give up my Word Perfect 6.1 version....all the newer ones are mouse-friendly, not keystroke-friendly and may as well be WORD ! But I need to be able to take that diskette and send it to others (in India, for example) as a Mic. Word Doc.

OpenOffice might come to your rescue, either Linux or Win32. Install this plugin. I haven't been able to test it myself, but it may help.
