On Monday, Mozilla's Firefox director Mike Beltzner presented a webcast in which he outlined the future of the popular web browser.
Beltzner showed some concept shots of Firefox 4, which is scheduled to ship in October or November this year. He stressed that everything about Firefox 4 remains open to change between now and its release.
From what Beltzner showed, Firefox 4's tabs system will be similar to that of Chrome, in that tabs will appear above the address bar. The home button is also replaced by a tab.

Looking forward to the new version. Firefox is a great browser. I am really looking forward to their improved features, especially with the better handling of faulty plugins like Flash.
remindes me of how opera looks since version 10.
take the shot replace firefox file list with operas, move the home tab to next to url bar as a button add another forward button inbetween forward and home, move elements bar in url to opposite side remove the last button on right of url add trash can next to new tab and you have opera.
wish companies could come up with some interesting new ways to do the same thing would make each browser unique in some way, does look good though, look forward to seeing if its features can get me to try it again

Actually, it's identical to opera 10.5. But where's the nifty blackout search!
