Hmmm. Svedish national telephone company Televerket, now known as Telia had automatic mobile phones in the mid 1950.
Som mobile phones has been around in sweden for 55 years now, with help by LM Ericsson, which is now known as Ericsson (or Sony/Ericsson if you talk about the hand pices).
So this guy have to be old now, around 75 years I would guess.
