having recently returned from NY and seeing that my cousins had the nNextel, push and talk I saw just how useful this product was.
I really do hope that it will not be WAYOFF in the future that we are able to get this facility as i feel it would be a great sussex with lots of money to be made.
I believe it will work, i only hope its sooner rather than later. I would be one of many who would like to sign up for it...

As domestic customers, Only too often, here in the UK, we are behind other countries in accessing new technology. The use of radiopaging technology passed us by and we only caught on with the introduction of 'calling party pays' services from Vodafone, BT, Cellnet and Hutchinson Telecom, most if not all are no longer operational.
The PTT (push to talk) services are an exciting leap forward in the world of communications.
Although the service will probably be initially aimed at the business sector, I for one hope that the domestic customer will not be forgotten. I am aware that Dolphin has a PTT service as part of its network although this is TETRA - based and not through the 'normal' telephone technology used in readily available handsets today and is firmly positioned in the business communications market place, where the tariffs and handsets aren't that attractive to domestic customers.
I'd be interested to hear or read how our networks in the Uk, are going to bring this next step to the 'many' and not just the 'few'.
When the time comes, I will be investing in this new technology for my family.
