Still waiting for that zero maintenance $200 network connected and maintained closed system consumer computer for the rest of us.......... come on Apple, the PC is 4 years or more down an evolutionary dead end, an overweight hobbyist dinosaur made up of quarelling hardware devices that don't get on with their OS and requiring constant updates - and with half its brain in its tail judging by response times. It should be a doddle to kill with a real hard wired locked down integrated volume product on a single board/chipset that accesses all its peripheral services by USB or wireless and you junk every few years, just like the more expensive but actually equally inflexible PC.
Who better to do this? Sony, Microsoft's X-Box division?
