An email claiming to detail a multitude of ills at Time Computers was dismissed by a company spokesman on Thursday as "a malicious mix of fact and fiction" and probably the work of a "disgruntled employee".
The message, which was circulated within the company on Wednesday, listed a series of alleged problems at Time Computers, including the allegation that the company had defaulted on a loan from HSBC, resulting in shop and head office staff being paid late two months in a row.
Speaking on behalf of the company, Richard Harris, head of human resources at Granville Technology Group, Time's parent company, admitted there had been some issues with the bank but insisted that employees had been kept informed of the issues at every stage.
He said he had read the email and was working to discover who had sent it around the company.
Harris also admitted that one of the directors of Time, Dr Tariq Mohammad, had left the company. The email claimed that four directors, including Dr Mohammed, had left.
Harris also "formally denied" another rumour that The Computer Shop is going to be bought by a company called Andy Clark and Associates.
Granville Technology trades under four main brands — The Computer Shop, Time Computers, Tiny Computers and Time Education.
Asked about the claim in the email that all of the company’s tech support had been transferred to India, Harris said this was not true and would be news "to the 145 people here". Harris added that after-hours tech support was handled in India, but a call put through to the Time help desk at 1615 BST was taken by an operator in Bangalore.
When asked about speculation that HP, one of Time's major suppliers, is worried about payment and refusing to supply computers, Mr Harris said; "That's not my area, I would not know about that."
Mr Harris reiterated that the email was the work of a malicious employee and that he and others at the group were "working very hard" to deal with the consequences.

Talkback
Lets face facts. The PC hardware business is very competitive with wafer thin profit margins. Only Dell is able to make a decent profit out of what is today a terrible business. It wouldn't surprise me if this company was in trouble, don't forget Time bought out the bankrupt Tiny a few years ago.
time pcs are worthless junk mine bluescreened from day 1 and failed after just 18 months so i sent it for repairs, when i got it back theyd wiped the hard drive without bothering to inform me theyd do this!!!! i lost all my work i was told i should have been informed theyd do this but the idiot who took my order to return my broken pc forgot to tell me!!! so i stopped payments to them in protest 3 years later theyre still trying to get me to pay so im trying to get them to take me to court where ill expose their rubbish computers and service to the worlds media, no one buy one of these junk computers they put inferior components in them to cut costs so they can compete with proper pcv manufacturers but these crap components dont last causing you endless hassle, i have warned you all
I work at Time/Tiny and we have been told nothing officially. The place is full of rumour and everyone is worried about getting paid late next week.
Harris is full of it, we dont get informed of ANYTHING
There are many rumours going around, the employees just want to know whats going on and no one will tell us. No one knows even if we are likely to get paid this month.
Actually there are less than 10 PC Tech Support left at time - rest handled by India
Any Time/Tiny/Granville employees worried about the current state of the company should urgently join or talk to the GMB Union. The nearest office is less than a mile from Time head office
Address is

Join NOW before the company goes bust - it can only have a week or so left
I work at Time and everyone is really panicking about their jobs. If there was nothing going on surely the company would tell us to dispel the rumours. The latest rumour is that we are being taken over by Comet. Whether or not that is true remains to be seen. I don't expect that we will be paid on Friday - the company seems to be in a real mess!
This is all true, i worked as a sales assistant in the Southampton branch of the Computer Shop until they turned up unnanounced 3 weeks ago and closed it. The bloke from head office even had my dates of employment wrong and when i correctd him, he actually argued the case with me!
Andy Clark is a new National Sales advisor with the company so id doesnt surprise me that he might buy the retail side.
Saying that we were kept informed of the 2 late payments is simply a lie, The emails to us only came when Payroll recieved numerous complaints from staff, otherwise they wouldnt have told us, and they never gave us the reasons why.
Another note, the person whom Andy Clark replaced, a person called Amjad, was removed from the position (NOT sacked) bacuse rumours went round that he threatened to kill someone in the comnpany. Sounds silly, but these rumours came from a lot of ppl very quickly after a big managers meeting. He was also mentioned in the national press about some massive tax evasion, but the details were sketchy, im sure you can find more...
Aso, i direct your attention to this site
http://www.grumbletext.co.uk/vt.php?t=397&subj=lvat+2110+1317+complaints+TIME+COMPUTERS+complaint
Which has some comments from other staff.
To summarize, Time computers / Granville technology are the worst company i have worked for ever, they really do not give a shit about their customers, they only want to take as much cash as possible from them.
If you want to more, let me know

James Ashman
all computer shop managers have been informed tonight that they must send home their staff tomorrow (tuesday 26th) and close their stores for the day. This is apparently due to the fact that hsbc now refuses to process the credit card payments of the company.
Well I can see that HSBC may decline to process anymore payments. Plasma CS are currently advising customers that the scheduled deliveries are not going to take place due to production hickups...... Yet VMT (the production company) have been sent home for the week yet again!!!!! customers have been promised deliveries from 04/08/05 yet there is nothing being built HHMMMM wonder if the same story will be out next week. I believe customers are going to get stitched up.. there is a lot of activity but nothing productive and all cloak and dagger stuff.... customers just get lie after lie and so do the staff. Harris is a deaf old sod who wouldn't know what day of week it was without an assistant. The company, for as long as it has been open, has been run like a corner shop. It has employed some very intelligent people, on high salaries, to help but not taken advice and continued in the same vane. Customers are the last people on Tahirs' mind, and always have been. If the bank is involved I suggest they take a close look at the books and figures to see if they have been manipulated in any way (whistle whistle). If run properly the Plasma and Education side of the business is viable but not as it is now The PC market has been flooded with Time/Tiny crap and will probably never recover. As for denying tales of woe just how stupid do they think everybody is.. Salaries weren't paid on time, the first time nobody knew the second time they did, in advance. They have made many redundant and transferred most calls to any one of three call centres in India. There is a core Tech at H/O but only for call backs and other such duties. A vast majority of the staff are on either..... wait you'll laugh at this........CALL QUALITY!!!! or CS. The CS staff are fire-fighting with petrol and don't stand a snowballs chance in hell because there is no backup from senior managers.... I could go on and on and on and on,,, but there is little point as nothing will be achieved
Lets face it thew company has gone. I was employed by Tiny back in the 90's and jumped ship b4 they went but decided to go back.. what a mistake..
Getting paid late, company having NO plasmas for people,,, at 5pm today we were still encouraged to sell sell sell as they call it...
They knew what they were doing. Just spoke to my area manager on the phone and apparently we will get paid... and then the flying pigs will do a fly past for me. I'm out of pocket due to lost wages, will I get any? Will I heck.
I hope Richard Harris gets whats coming to him... he was invited to a conference call with the south region @ 1pm but then cancelled as he needed time to gather the facts they said... more like to get out!!!!
Cumon Andy Clark, put your money where your mouth is and help us out by buying the place...
all i can say is *balls* ... once again a tits up approach by time and its magical and * special* team of management - role on redundancy payments.
I also work for "the computer shop" and I now relise what has happend today, it now makes more sense by reading this article. As all store managers have been told to send staff home and tell them the same crap about credit card proceesing I somehow think this is rubbish and just a cover up. Tiny.com and the rest of time group are stil trading as normal, its just "the computer shop" chain which also use hsbc. I do wonder if I will actually have a job to go back to on tuesday, I think not unless bought out, some are saying dell or pc world or even comet. I cant see Andy Clark taking it over its a far too big operation.
All Stores are closed. We dont know whats going on, and we work here. It seems like noone is telling the honest facts here. In other words, the shit has hit the fan.
Strange things have been going on in the company for while now, such as getting paid late. Now no-one will tell us the truth about why the stores are shut today. We are just on leave until further notice due to "a dispute with the bank". A load of people in HO retail support were laid off, there's hardly anyone left, and there's been stores closing down left right and centre. Everytime staff question this, they are hushed. We are not allowed to ask questions, for fear that we will be the next one to be laid off. People get sacked fro having terrible sales figures... but half the time they arebetter than certain members of staff who are chummy with people high up in the business. What can we do though? Now we are all going to be left out of pocket and out of a job. Never ever buy from this company. Ever. If they treat their staff this way, I feel sorry for the customer. And yes, they do dodgey components. A customer wanted to send his PC back for a new hard drive because the old one was knackered. He asked for his old one to be returned, and the person at HO said "No, the manufacturer needs it back for parts." Says it all.
As an ex-employee of the company (i left in early June so still have a good perspective) I feel genuinely sorry for all my collegues, both in the store i was in and all those from other stores. They deserve none of this uncetrainty that has befallen them.
In the defence of tiny as a company contrary to belief the machines are actually good - they use off the shelf components from major manufacturors and sell them at almost cost price. I would not have sold a Tiny machine to members of my family otherwise.
I think that ultimatley tiny have been selling machines too cheap and this has lead to the problems that have alledgedly arisen. In particular the plasma screen have been far far unpriced and this has drained money from the company.
I think it is a shame that mismanagement by the national sales director who was replaced by Andy Clark ( those who worked in the company will know exactly which raving lunatic I am talking about - so do the inland revenue!!!!) has left the company in this poor position.
I hope that those affected find there way - I managed to find a way out. I have worked with some of the best of the best in that firm and they have taught me alot about sales and management ( thanks to Capt Picard and Gandlaf the Grey - you know who you are!!). Have faith that the company will do its best for you - i was made redundant after a store closure but taken back and promoted within a week. Keep your heads up and all the best!
Those that know me drop me a line - you will figure out who i am after reading this.
THE CORIER AT TIME IS ALSO REFUSING COLLECTION/DELIVIRIES AT THE MOMENT AS THEY OWE MONEY
Hi, I recently left the company (Last friday).
I still cannot believe that they have managed to hang on for so long. Gettng paid late for 1 month was enough to send the charges high, but for it to happen 2 months in a row was the biggest shock. All the company could do was say that there was an issue with the bank! I now don't know if I'll even get paid this month, and even though I have started a new job, is quite a worry. When they changed to comm structure from geting paid for cleared payment to invoiced sales alarm bells should have started.
Over the last few months I had daily complaints about late delivery or poor service from customers, and all I could tell them was that stock was due in any day soon (WHEN?)
Even until I left last Friday, we were still been pushed by area managers to sell goods that didn't even exist, and I have little faith in any of them actually receiving the gods, especially the plasma screens (what a disaster that has been!)
I have to say that over the years Time / Tiny have had some good products let down by the quality of the build or support that is available, and I can understand why customers get very frustrated, if only we could have helped them at store level.
I feel sorry for my friends and colleagues still involved with the company, and hope that it all works out for them.
Take care guys and good luck!
Alarm bells have been ringin for a while, rumours of take overs going wrong & then blaming the bank when we got paid late 2 months in a row.!!!!
Its all very worrying. No one has been told for sure if we will get paid on time ...if at all. Although it seems highly unlikely. If the company is in as bad a state as it would seem then the staff will be way down the list of priorites (not much new there then)
I feel heart sorry for the customers too. People have paid for Pcs and plasma tvs that theyll never receive. Some of the orders reported to be getting sent out in august were ordered in May !!!!!!! with an estimated lead time of 28 days (not out by too much then!!)
And dont even get me started on the HP laptops or the thousands of orders they have for laptops that they dont have the money to buy the parts for!!
Easy saying these things happen in business but that doesnt help the customers who will have lost money or the staff who if they get paid should view it as a minor miracle .
I think if we knew what was happening it wouldnt be so bad but as it stands the staff are in the dark. Richard Harris has lied in saying weve been kept informed because we havent.
So we all just have to wait and see !!!!!!!!
ALL stores are closed, all staff are at home wondering if they still have jobs, nobody been told about whats happening, company looking like its the end..
there has been problems for a while and this is the show from it, will we all get paid?
will the customers get their computers?
is this the end???
could be worth contacting the local MP and see if she can put any pressure on the company to come clean. Contact details are on her website here: http://tinyurl.com/9f2lj
More of you who make a fuss the more chance of intervention before the money vanishes into thin air or Dubai
i doubt that will acheive anything, the local MP? dont be daft this company is huge..
the factory may be in burnley but thats about all, if the big wigs of the company realise its going down.. the money will dissapear to another contry a long with most of the high level staff, theres nothing anyone can do but stand back and watch..
i feel sorry for the banks if they do try to get forve the company into bankrupcy (lol sorry for the banks who'd have thought i'd ever be saying that) they wont get a peny, the money will vanish into thin air, the company has been set up to make a quick get away right from the start, how can they not see that..
My son's laptop has just gone in for repair.
Am I ever likely to see it again?
Brian
Apparantly there was a management buyout which went wrong. The original founders sold the company earliear this year to the bank and the directors Brian Lynn and Mr. Crowley who had been running the place for the past 4 years and closing stores every week. They could not raise enough funds and fell out with the bank. Both of them walked out on the same day last month, leaving the bank "holding the baby" and the company has been going downhill since then.
Yes and the bank is about to "drop the baby"
well no customer goods have been delivered so the courier will still have them
Fantastic. Everyone who works in the stores tries their level best to do a good job, give good service, and takes pride in what they do. Free advice seems to be our stock in trade. But everytime something goes wrong, its head office that F**ks up. We lose our bonus, and get all kinds of pressure to increase our hit rate. Now, after all the BS, all the abuse, we arent even getting paid as far we know. NIce one, two members of staff (or ex...) homeless.
Yesterday I emailed Tiny that I intended to take legal action to recover the £620 they have had since May 3rd for a laptop I ordered in April. Delivery was supposed to be 7-14 working days. I cancelled the order 4 weeks later when I was unable to get replies to emails or letters and got fed up of listening to the musak on their customer services line. On one occasion I hung on for 35 minutes. To add insult to injury this is an income-generating 0870 number.
Unfortunately I smelt the rat too late!
I feel sorry for the customers. We can check how many items are on back order. Over 3,000 Plasmas ordered will now never be delivered. At an average price of 1,300 - that's close to 5 million pounds the company has taken of customers money they never had any intention of providing for. And this is ignoring the 100s of PC and Laptop orders they take every week. It's basically theft.
The computer business is dead. I can build a PC for just £300 and I remember it used to be £1500 a few years a go. Most of the above is just rubbish. The company has been loosing money for several years. It only survived because money was pumped into it from other profitable companies like supanet. Retail stores were the biggest cost and the MD Brian Lynn was closing them as fast as he could (not fast enough). In the end they just stopped pumping money into it and so did the bank. The MD and FD realized they bought a 'turkey' and both left on the same day!

I am a former Time employee, and I was there straight after the takeover of the Tiny brand. Even at that time Granville Technologies was running very close to the bone financially. With falling PC prices, laughable Customer Service and heavy handed, misinformed selling tactics, poor quality products, and unhappy staff, It is no big suprise to me that Granville Technology Group has gone the same way as Tiny (the company) did.
While I was employed there staff were told to try and sell products to every customer service call, and were given incentive payments if they did.
I got to the stage where I was going home at night feeling guilty and 'dirty' selling people products and services they didn't really need - all due to pressure from management to sell sell sell at any cost!.
I stuck it out as long as I could but eventually left the company. For my own sanity as much as anything else.
There was no job security and a constant threat of out-sourcing made for an uncomfortable working environment.
Since leaving Time Group (now calling themselves Granville Technology Group) I have 'gone it alone' so to speak doing PC repairs. The majority of which (about 85%) have been Time and Tiny PCs.
The quality of componets has never seemed to get any better, and I've found one of the easiest ways to sort out a Time/Tiny system is to replace the ridiculously low quality motherboard. That alone fixes a multitude of problems. Even the customers are suprised at the difference - minor replacements are sometimes needed too such as DVD/CD writers which only seem to last 6 months if you are lucky.
But it works out cheaper for the customers to have me fix their system than to spend hours on a premium rate call, or wait weeks for a pc to go for repoair at Time and come back as bad or worse than it left.
I think the demise of Granville will put a smile on a lot of faces in the coming weeks.
About time they went bust after selling low end rubbish for years and messing up the trade for decent independent suppliers.
I've never seen such shoddy, badly built machines from any other UK supplier.
Nickname in the trade:- DOWNTIME
I have just paid £1100 for a plasma. Can anyone help me with any numbers or tell me how to go about retrieving my money. People keep saying how untrustworthy and bad this company was well I was totally unaware of this when I handed over my cash to them. How was they allowed to carry on selling?
I am devestated and do not know what steps to take. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Linda.
Linda. You asked about your Plasma, If you paid by credit card then call your card company to explain, and they will refund your card and they will speak to administrator.
As a ex employer who was told today at 5pm that I and all staff will not be paid leaving all staff not able to pay the bills this month.
I HAVE GAINED INFORMATION THAT SOME PEOPLE AT HEAD OFFICE WILL BE PAID OR HAVE ALREADY BEEN PAID, I HAVE THE PRESS INVOLVED AND THEY WILL BLOW THE LID SOON.
UNDER HAND DEALING WILL ALSO COME TO LIGHT WITH REF TO PAYMENTS GIVEN TO CERTAIN MEMBERS OF HEAD OFFICE...
WATCH THIS SPACE
I worked for Granville Technology at head office upto 3.30 this afternoon, when we were told we were redundant and by the way there was no money to pay us on Friday.
There were rumours but I've been there a while and we've had them before and sales have been good so I dismissed them there are people I dealt with on a day to day basis who definately knew something but never said a word. Are they bothered we wont be able to meet mortgage and loan repayments or pay the bils lnext week, do they give a toss?
The answer is no cos they have their millions!
And the staff they wanted to save have been moved to other companies own by the Mohsan family I just hope that DTI investigates throughly and they find out why the adminstrators were only called in when it was too late to salvage anything.
There have also been strange things like high value stock disappearing in the last few days.
I have has a Plasma package from the computer shop now since february. I am fairly happy with it .....some people may not believe that !).
I took it on a buy now pay later method which I will pay in full in September. I also took out extended gold guarantee for 24.99 per month.
Any advice for me whether to continue paying the Guarantee?...Does it involve just computers or Plasma's as well?
Any advice please? Thank You.
i feel sorry for the people who have had thier lives wrecked by time and as a one time customer i know what it feels like to be burned by time's poor service, when the dust has setteled we will all be able to look back and be glad that we have seen the last of time, the computer trade will be a better place without them.
I have had problems with my pc for over 12 months now. It has been returned for repair on 4 ocassions but is still not working 100%.
I've tried calling the customer service number but can't get through. It seems the only people I can talk to are the tech staff in India.
I also paid almost £500 for the customer gold care cover which is money I could have spent on a pc that actually works!
I am very annoyed and am going to seek legal advice but I'm not sure if it will do any good as the company does appear to be on thin ice.
It's a real shame that this company apparently does not care about the important people, i.e. it's staff and customers..........
This news, though saddening is not surprising, considering the peculiar of the company.
I really do feel for the employees as I fully understand what they are enduring, as I gone through the same process twice.
I am in unique position as I have worked for during Time computers as a Technician between 1998-2000. and at 2000-2003 at Tiny computers as a salesman before the company went into administration and was acquired by Time. In both companies the parallels and similarities in the manner both companies went into administration and the strategies of deception employed to deliberately mislead employees and consumers are almost carbon copies. When Time decided that they could no longer afford IT technician at every store I informed of my redundancy by phone with only a few days notice by my area manager. We were told to tell customers that ‘it was business as usual’. The closures were for internal restructuring. The reality was that Time were struggling financially.
As a qualified technician who has worked for Time as such I can give a professional opinion as to the quality of their product, sales advice and after care support.
I used to service around 40 pc’s a week. 80% of the machines were a year old or older, the remainder less than one year old.
Very rarely did I encounter issues whish were software related, almost all were motherboard issues as time insisted on using the most basic / lowest quality MSI boards as a matter of course. The rest of the hardware was not much better, all were generic lowest spec hardware combinations available. Leaking capacitors and ill-chosen CPU/ mainboard combinations led me to believe that no burn in actually took place at HQ. I remember when a whole product line had to be recalled as a certain MSI / Elite mainboard when used with IBM Cyrix CPUS caused the CPU to burnout as the mainboard could not recognise the correct Vcore voltage for the CPU.
The PSU’s were of extremely low quality resulting in very unpredictable power output. As for graphic cards, modems and any other component it was obvious that the lowest priced components where chosen over quality and reliability.
At least the components used in side the systems were consistent, peripherals components were a different matter – I remember seeing 4 different monitors from 4 different customers for the same system model!!!!
The sales team were largely ignorant of the technology or software that they were selling, possessing only rudimentary technical knowledge. However it was the deception and hard sell techniques that they used to sell the systems which disturbed me greatly.
Sales at Time were driven by the need to sell executive software bundles (mostly obsolete software of dubious value) and the over-priced warranty bundles, particularly the Gold warranty packages. A salesman could earn £30+ commission per system if they sold the correct package to an uninitiated customer.
Salespeople would commit acts of outright fraud to secure sales – one salesman told a customer that the price of a 5 yr gold cover (£568 if I remember correctly) was ‘paperwork’ costs made by the finance company. These frauds, and others occurred daily, every day. This was evident on the salesfloor too as the extended warranties were pushed hard. In the case of Tiny a salesman had to sell 70% of his monthly quota with a warranty otherwise all the commission would be lost – a huge burden as the commission was structured in such a way that it accounted for over half a good salespersons salary.
The levels of service for gold customers and standard customers was the same, I should know – I fixed the PC’s.
For my part I did a very good of actually repairing PC’s – in most cases simply would not use the approach of using the back-up CD (a Norton ghost image) as this did nothing to resolve the underlying issue.
However I did replace faulty hardware when I diagnosed it using my own testing kit from home
cont'd............
However I did replace faulty hardware when I diagnosed it using my own testing kit from home. As a result of my diligence I had a very good relationship with my customers – I often received gifts and meals from them.
After being made redundant as a technician with Time I quickly found employment with Tiny, and my technical expertise made me a very good salesman, however during 2003 Tiny went into administration. Months before closure, a good proportion of the directors took flight to work for rival firms. A new chairman was bought in and Tiny began refocusing away from their core business into mobile phones, home entertainment equipment and even launched an ISP. However in the stores business was slow, our managers could not explain the downturn, and they recognised it yet were impotent to correct it.
Shockingly Tiny disguised its losses by telling staff that profits were lower as the cost of advertising and marketing had increased. In truth Tiny’s annual spend on advertising was around £2m and to say that it increased to £23m in the space of a year was absurd. However this figure disguised the huge losses they were incurring and the gross strategic errors they were making.
Times / Tinys issues are greater than that of simply bad service and low value systems:
1. Both companies began to expand aggressively from the mid 1990’s when the computer OEM manufacturer sector was contracting and consolidating.
2. When Dell and Compaq merged, Gateway shed thousands of jobs and prices for components were lowered because of over-supply Time and Tiny began to think of getting extra sales through aggressive pricing. This strategy failed as they were making losses on each system sold.
3. Tiny / Time expanded into overseas markets in Europe and the US only to quickly pull out, losing millions in the misendevour.
4. Both companies shifted focus, (though tentatively) away from their core business – OEM system building to other markets – TV’s mobile phones, ISP’s all of which failed or where dropped. This represented a loss of core strategic direction at a critical time.
5. Dangerous fixation with the ‘made in Britain’ mentality. To put it bluntly to think like a Daily Mail reader is not good business sense. Globalisation and Market forces dictate otherwise. Where do you think most of the electronic goods in your house are made ? You cannot compete with lower production costs overseas – it’s a fact. Also with the standardisation of manufacturing processes and business systems made in XYZ country has become almost meaningless as an indicator of quality.
6. The idea for Time to move call centre operations overseas is a good idea but it was done too late. The company should have moved its whole production and manufacturing base overseas.
7. The bricks and mortar approach to business only works of you have excellent customer support, well trained and motivated staff, adaptable and flexible response to issues: Time / Tiny lack these qualities acutely.
8. Over reliance on the volume sale of PC systems to create revenue – in the words of Michael Dell – ‘the margins kill you every time.’
I hope former employees of Time / Tiny reading this will find the employment that you sorely deserve with a more empathetic employer. If need advice I am happy to provide it free of charge.
SHIT SHIT SHIT. What a crap company to work for. We get left in the dark and get paid late for the last few months and now to be told that for the last month that we have worked we arent been paid a bean - no pay, no commission, no holiday pay!! When you are in the middle of moving house it doesnt really help. The people i work with are some of the best people you could meet, i feel for us all.
I was a technician in the "flagship" store in sheffield for several years. We were given poor quality products to work with, even getting basics like restore disks for techies to use would take months...
The sales staff were under extreme pressure to perform and the bonus scheme was revised weekely to ensure the targets could not be hit.
Granville technology couldnt organise a F*&% in a brothel quite frankly.
I was made redundant whilst taking a forced holiday as i had "too many holiday days left". Basically, it meant they didnt have to pay me additional holiday pay.
I feel sorry for all the staff at my old store except the manger, Scott, who was a lanky scottish streak of piss with the charm and charisma of a tumour.
Oh, and carlos, the alexi sayle wanna be.
Bollocks to the pair of you. Glad i got out when i did....
i knew this was coming the day i stepd in to that chair, the company was cuting corners from the 1st day it started, i feel sorry for them people who have a connection with time or tiny basically they are F***t, am glad am sitting in a place where evry one dreamz off, any way keep on dreaming you S***kerzzzzzzzz, hahahaha,
hi iam a supanet subscriber who i understand are owned by time anyone no how this is going to affect them.
After contacting Supanet myself, they've confirmed they are not owned by GTG Ltd, and will be uneffected by the imminent closure of GTG LTD.
HEAD OFFICE STAFF GETTING CASH IN HAND - this is news that seems to be filtering out, as there are high doubts over getting paid tomorrow. Please can someone shed some light on this? come on media, work in the customers/employees favour, and help to expose what is going on.
A Tale Of DISCRIMINATION?...

Read this. The Asian community are looking after themselves - WHATABOUT THE REST OF THE EMPLOYEES AND EQUAL RIGHTS?
i am an employee of "the computer shop"....or i was untill tuesday. i just cant believe the way in which this joke of a company has gone about making 1500 people redundant. i am frankly disgusted that they think that they can get away with this. from what i have heard, 3 of the 4 directors resigned last week.......convienient dont you think. then to turn round and tell us that we will not be paid on friday was just adding insult to injury. surely there has to be some kind of insurance policy to cover employees in this kind of ssituation??? as for the customers who have forked out there hard earned cash on time/tiny products, i feel for you as there is not much chance of you getting either now.
the bottom line is that even tho i know that this is a lost cause, i still have had no official information as to whether or not i am redundant or to whether i will be paid this friday(i am not nieave however, and i know that there i no chance of keepng my job or getting paid). as log as the asian bosses have there money thats all right, ill sleep better at night knowing that they will not struggle over the coming months, like the 1500 employees who dont even know whats going on.
re: the post above
could you possibly elaborate on what the specified link is as i cannot get it to work, and would love to see what it is about
