What does it say about our society that people willingly admit to thinking a bunch of bumbling imbeciles became the largest software company in the world. Do they honestly think that they're stupid enough to go around stealing things and posting it in a very public manner?
A little rational thinking on the part of the average person would be nice. I also feel it's an absurd expectation for a company to have to check source code they've purchased against every existing (and in this case CLOSED) line of code on the planet.
They must have had some inclination after witnessing it running, that it looked remarkably Simula to Plurk, and you can't say that they where ignorant of there target market & competition.
More scrutiny of third party contractors wouldn't go a miss either.

Yes, that is exactly what I think. Thank you for summarizing it so well.
