Steve Jobs on Monday kicked off the Worldwide Developers Conference, which he says has more than 5,200 attendees from 57 countries this year.
Starting off with an update on the iPad, Jobs said Apple has sold more than two million web tablets in the 59 days since its release.
Moving on, he lamented about the iPhone. "It's hard to remember what it was like before iPhone," he says. Apps weren't the same. There was no free market for apps. iPhone changed that in 2007, he says. He says the iPhone 4 is the most exciting thing to happen since the release of the original device in 2007.
