Sorry we couldn't alert you all earlier about the Watchdog programme. We only heard yesterday that Watchdog was covering Bulldog that evening, so got a story up ASAP.
There's a summary on the BBC site here that might be of interest:

Okay
Hi im glad i found this page as i was looking to write in to complain about bulldog myself as i have had nothing but trouble since i ordered my broadband with them on the 30 june.first of all they lost a month of my order and tryed to tell me it wasnt ordered untill the 28 july yet they took 60 pound connection fee from me on the 4th of july..then everytime i called up no one seems to no whats happening.i even emailed the complants department for some sort of compensation for all the messing around but im still waitin for a replay.and to make matters worse we now have connection date for the 21.9.05 but thay sent the wrong modem so we have to send it bk which means come wensday we will be left with no modem to connect to the net till new 1 arrives.im very unhappy about the service so far.
I am another disgruntled Bulldog customer. I signed up with them in November 2005. By February, having received no broadband service at all, despite numerous phonecalls and assurances, I cancelled my account. Nevertheless they billed me. I e-mailed saying I owed nothing and they replied that they would clear my account. And I've just discovered they've debited my account by £29. They are always apologetic, but aplogies ring a little hollow!
I am at my wits end with bulldog. I joined up around christmas 05. 3 times bulldog were ment to install my line; I booked days off work and waited in all day.No one called! when it was finally installed I onley had a dialing tone for 5 minutes a day and when I did it is to crackley to hear. My net is the same. when I call them at first they didnt even take my name and told me to buy a new adapter and now even though Ive done that they still give me the same advise. It is now may 06. they keep sending me bills for a service I havnt got and ignore my letters. Ive spent a fortune on my mobile and in net cafes as my land line just doesnt work. I dont know what to do
