Problem with demand management is usually the definition of demand being used. More often then not such demand is in reality determined by how much or how high the support is for a given demand within the organization. Thus resulting in an increased need for damage control management later on because those that are in the know about the less attractive yet neccesary things (minority) are voted out of the demand management process.
