I am using MS Outlook 2003 and it works just fine. Also i manage contacts, documents, projects, taks, appointments with a MS Outlook Add-In called OutlookInside. Until now, everything work great and all team is happy with the solution.

I use Eudora at home and work, I sync files, searches work,filters work, anti spam works and its free.
If you run a business and need appointments look at using something like Goldmine - it is far superior to outlook and offers CRM as well.
I don't know why Billy G or anyone would bother with Outlook.
Notes has been handling all these "horrors" with no fuss for the last 13 years.
FGor goodness' sake, get a life -- and a decent email client (and an IDE).
