The BlackBerry Storm is a revolution for RIM in more ways than one. It will be exclusive to Vodafone for its entire life, and it features a revolutionary touch-screen technology.
The touch-screen is the headline grabber. The 3.25in. screen offers 480 by 360 pixels and dominates the front of the device. It sports RIM's SurePress technology, which includes a layer that can be depressed by 1.5mm. Press gently on an icon, a menu option, an on-screen keyboard or a web link, and the desired action takes place.
We spent half an hour with the Storm and while there's definitely a learning curve to negotiate, it shouldn't take most users too long to master the system.

Talkback
To be honest there are a lot more things that could have been said about this phone.
I feel that this review is missing a lot of key points.
I'm looking to be purchasing this phone when it is released, but the only major gripe I have with it is that it doesn't have Wi-fi built in. Being a current iPhone user I have become quite used to this.
I'm sure the coverage for the mobile internet will be fine but being from the North-east of Scotland I'm not quite sure how well I will be covered.
The camera is a definite plus being better than the iPhone.
I'm quite looking forward to experiencing the new touch screen system that this phone has. I'm not sure whether to expect something like the LG viewty had or something completely different.
I suppose I will have to wait and see.
