Wireless safety needs good sense, not sensationalism
Talkback The Mac's internal wireless card was not attacked. It was an external USB third party device that was circumvented. It has been reported since that the Mac at this time is still not vulnerable to this exploit.not to say that won't happen someday.

U.S. Robotics Wireless MaxG router

FreeBSD 6.0 will target wireless devices
Talkback Better wireless support is just what is needed to complete the package. Outstanding. FreeBSD is rock solid, secure, and just plain works well. There is no reason to put windoze on a notebook again if 802.11 support is there.
