hmmm does this mean you actually gave your e-mail address away?
Talkback If you gave you e-mail address away to a site you did not trust then what do you expect. I find it hard to believe that by simply browsing some images somehow the site has worked out your current e-mail address and started spamming it.

169.IP address issues
Blog As a cold sweat warmed up and my case of cyber dependency took hold I played and played with the settings getting an IP address assigned to me with no problem, but it would not allow me to connect the dots and complete the picture.

Microsoft criticised for IP address configuration patent
Talkback The given link to "www.freepatentsonline.com" only says "an IP address". There is no distinction mentioned between an IPv4 address and an IPv6 address. Therefore I believe the concern is justified.

VeriSign sued over Web address 'hijacking'
Talkback The guy who said there was no 404 for unknown hostnames is quite correct - 404's refer to document not found on a valid server. The article also says that Verisign is redirecting all unregistered domains to it's own site, which is not the case either.
