Blog It will sort of install on the S2110; it is still not happy when booting the Live CD, because of the ATI display adapter. It won't even load on the S2110, I suspect because of the ATI display adapter.

Mandriva 2009 Release Available

Blog Comment Mandriva One 2009.0 KDE then installed flawlessly on the Lifebook S2110 (AMD/ATI). @AdamW - You are, as usual, correct. It is exactly the problem described in the link you gave, and I was able to work around it with the procedure described there.

Fedora 11

Blog Once I got that worked out, I was able to install Fedora 11 on both of my notebooks (Fujitsu S6510, Intel, and Fujitsu-Siemens S2110, AMD/ATI), and it works very well. Support for all of the various integrated devices and controllers is just fine...

Three SMALL Linux Distributions

Blog Failed to boot properly the first time on the S2110, because of the ATI display adapter. It didn't complain or get confused by the ATI display adapter, and it was the only one of the three which actually had a Swiss German keyboard option.

SimplyMEPIS 8.0 Released

openSuSE 11.1 Released
