Gartner: Ignore Vista until 2008

Talkback I heard about Vista requiring a monitor with HDMI (with DRM encryption) to fully utilize the graphics, if you don't have the approved newer DRM HDMI connection then the graphics get dumbed down (is this still true, or internet hype ?
