Inkscape old skool help
Blog I've been using Inkscape a great deal for my new "we build web sites" Team Firebox offshoot -- a friend of a friend designed the logo in Adobe Illustrator CSomething, and I managed to open up the EPS pretty much no problem at all in Inkscape.

Talkback what about photoshop, illustrator, flash and all those other pc/mac only apps.lets linux versions of them.lol.plus its no good teaching kids to use open source software when the work place is windows orientated, and they will lose out on kids used...

Flaws
Talkback I personally think at Adobe is wonderful, being a regular user of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, for example. My experience of flaws is similar. Firefox has crashed so many times that I gave up using it for months.

Apple Mac OS X on x86: a first test
Talkback I hate windows, but running photoshop or illustrator on windows is always a better option.if you're using adobe products). Sorry, the software and the hardware are crap. Apple had a good architecture to play around with PPC and they screwed it up.

Apple releases Windows dual-boot tool
Talkback I don't need drivers to connect my camera to the Tomahawk Desktop, Instead of Photoshop, I use Gimp to touch up my photos, Instead of Illustrator, I use Inkscape to create my artworks, Instead of PageMaker, I use Scibus to create my PDF brochures.
