Hotmail wipes 100s of emails from my inbox!

Talkback I accessed my hotmail inbox yesterday to discover that literally 100s of emails have been wiped off the system. From last week to this weekend, 3 year's worth of emails (close to 1000) have simply vanished from my inbox.

A walk along the inbox

Blog Just for fun, I did a quick analysis of the contents of my work inbox for the past 24 hours. Most of my personal email goes on in my personal inbox, unsurprisingly, so I'm not quite as sad and friendless as that figure may indicate, and it's nice...

Hotmail wipes 100s of emails from my inbox!

Talkback Easy come.easy go! We are afterall relying on an external supplier to store and securitize OUR information. Practically every email model fails to provide a Select All - Send All capability. Put simply, you can't have your cake and eat it too!

RE: ‘Spring Clean’ Your Inbox

Blog Comment You're right Chris, it's very hard to manage employees' e-mails in terms of what they need and what they don't. Again, I think a large part of it comes down to educating the workforce to implement the tips I gave above.

Do senders have a right to your inbox?

Do senders have a right to your inbox?

Talkback Although I don't like the thought of this at all, spammers may focus their emails to those who read it and refrain from sending to those who don't. Farfetched, I know.maybe.just maybe.

Do senders have a right to your inbox?
