LG GD910 watch phone
Blog I’ve spent the last few days with LG’s watchphone. The GD910 is not the first watch to incorporate mobile phone capability, but it is the first I can remember beeing embraced by a major network operator in the UK (correct me if I am wrong).

LG X110 netbook with 3G mobile broadband
Blog More recently I've become friends with LG's X110 which takes the netbook concept on to another level. The LG X110 is certainly a serious step up from the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 from Vodafone and on the basis of usability alone I'd swap in an flash if...

Lily Allen brings a Smile to LG
Blog We found out last night at a shindig thrown by LG to promote its latest range of LCD TVs. LG managed to snag B-list celebs aplenty including the Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding and Rhys Ifans of Notting Hill fame (is he technically A-list?

LG Electronics GSA-4040B

3 leans on LG as 3G gathers momentum
Talkback Regrettably I am one of the 1.2 million Three customers. The service is very poor, with coverage much worse than when I was with O2. The attraction to me was the apparently very good deal, but a good deal is no good if you can't make calls when you...

3 leans on LG as 3G gathers momentum
Talkback Extensive searching on both LG's and 3's websites offer no solutions. Warning Just brought a U8110 from 3 and the sorfware doesn't comunicate with Outlook as it should. On importing your contacts from Outlook it randony swaps round first and...

Samsung and LG.Philips start LCD push
Talkback These large screens are still junk. Even the best 42" are just 1024 x 1024 pixels. The manufacturers are doing the usual and drip feeding us obsolete technology to maximise revenue - the same is happening with cameras on mobiles.

Samsung and LG.Philips start LCD push
Talkback A cheap 42" HD TV is very welcome. If they are cheap enough, I miight get two, and stick one on my bedroom ceiling.

Mandrake Linux 9.2 'kills' some CD-ROM drives
Talkback LG were stupid to re-use the command to zap firware. The loser here will be LG. Now that script kiddies know if this neat feature - can't wait for MS based virii to do a similar thing. But Mandrake do get latest stuff out first (e.g.devfs) but...

LG 7100

LG 7100
Member Review There is no tech support from LG, the camera is useless unless in perfect daylight -- unlike my previous panasonic gd87e ( which I am changing back to) also you cannot take a straight picture -- it is always on an angle.

LG 7100

LG Electronics GSA-4040B

LG 7100
Member Review I can't get any additional support from LG. Its looks are excellent, the camera is good when close up -- the flash doesn't always make a huge effect, but it has made it possible to take photos while on the dancefloor of pretty girls!
