Blog Comment Just to get back on this one: Another undersung free service that Microsoft have been beavering away on for the past year is the platform transending Live Mesh which works on PC, MAC,and mobile platforms and looks to be very up and comming in 2009.

Blog Comment I've slowly been backing up files and software set ups in the most basic and easy to get to grips with part of the cloud, and that's by zipping up and using the live sky drive, or now much more importantly using live mesh.

Blog Comment Office docs and similar are backed and synced across various machines using live mesh. Larger files such as OS .iso images live on USB keys, drive partitions on different computers, and laptop hard drives in external caddies.

Blog Comment With the likes of live mesh around every little change in a document can be kept in sync online if need be. It really struck me as I read this, that the end of windows as the "be all and end all" may soon be upon us.
