Talkback I want to thank Bill Gates and his army of flying monkeys for pushing the "Windows Genuine Advantage" patch out to my Windows XP Laptop yesterday. Now it won't run at all, stopping with a blue screen in the log-on process.

Talkback I think If microsoft wanted to dissable pirated windows with their genuine advantage tool they could easily. Some believe that there is a an unspoken hands off policy towards pirated windows machines in the third world.

Blog Comment Problem is the other 'Windows XP' - at its extreme - little or no updates, annoying buggy 'genuine advantage' (no advantage to anyone but MS), nagging you. For day to day office tasks it is easily up there with Windows and no genuine advantage nags...

Talkback Just think about "Windows Genuine Advantage". Have a think about why the major portion of the web is filled with garbage that guns after Windows and other MS solutions. No one would trust you as far as they can throw a Windows setup CD.
