Can anyone say Opera?
Talkback It is no surprise to me that Firefox beats IE 7. But all the items that your commentators said were missing in Firefox are available in Opera. Also Opera is even smaller and faster than Firefox, with even more features like saving as many session...

Ben's right
Talkback Using IE is contributing to the spread of windoze adware, malware, trojans, and virus infections, not to mention zombies running botnets. Add to that the fact that IE 7 is nothing more than IE 6 with a new coat of paint.

Firefox 2.0 release delayed
Talkback I predict it will still be available before IE7 and that IE 7 will deliver nothing that isn't already BETTER in Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc etc

Internet Explorer 7 Beta: a first look review
Reviews Microsoft's limited availability for IE 7 should only open the door wider for competing browsers to steal even more market share in the months to come. Given the high expectations, we're unimpressed with the IE 7 for XP Beta.

Microsoft agrees to rival browsers in Windows
News PC makers could choose to install a rival browser — as they can today — and could also choose to disable IE. In a reversal on Friday, Microsoft said it is now open to giving users in Europe a selection of browsers in Windows 7.

Opera: Microsoft's browser move not enough
News Our decision to only offer IE separately from Windows 7 in Europe cannot, of course, preclude the possibility of alternative approaches emerging through Commission processes," deputy general counsel Dave Heiner said in the blog.

Firefox for me.
Talkback I regret allowing IE to upgrade itself to version 7. Personally I'll never use IE again. Where were my links? I couldn't gain access to three out of five of the toolbars. They showed on a dropdown in grey text only.

Say what?
Talkback There are some innovations in IE, but to be fair, it isn't much and it's very late. IE has done something to improve this, but is so far behind Firefox/Opera/Safari. My advice to the IE team would be to put Gecko or KHTML inside IE 7.1 and forget...

Microsoft: Don't sell PCs without operating systems
Talkback I've already come to the conclusion that I want nothing to do with Windows Vista - whenever the hell that's coming out - and IE 7 is ugly and amatuerish at best. That's right, Microsoft - keep pushing me towards Linux.

Microsoft drops 'E' version of Windows 7
