Talkback Tired-of-Whining. I must've been unclear. Obviously you should be able to replace a hard drive. That's the whole point. My logic is that if people complain about computer support/stability issues, they must not know how to fix it.

Talkback And thus when Mac began using the IBM manufactured PowerPC chip back in the 90's I was probably the only one disgusted and crying: "Hypocracy! Thus, I breath easier now that Intel is in a Mac. I for one have never liked IBM hardware.

Talkback Basically the Mac OS does not need the same kind of processing power to get the same job done. OS X may be slower in certain avenues, such as copying Discs. Because of the OS. Listen, in my opinion, either camp (Windows and Mac) have their advantages.

Talkback I am very much IMPRESSED by the speed of iTunes under Rosetta! Several other people have already said this was an inaccurate comparison since iTunes is not a native application yet. It is therefore completely normal that it is slower.
