Story: Lawyers sceptical of "grooming" laws

I am the mother of a 14 year-old who has had the unfortunate experience of finding out that men are contacting her through a site popular in her middle school, for the purposes of engaging in cyber-sex. While I can't prove that their intent would be to someday meet her and molest her, I'm upset that knowing she admits to being 14, it is not illegal for them to proceed to engage them in sexual fantasy....

While full medical records may be of (dubious) value at rear/base medical facilities, these could be provided much simpler by either physical disk or electronic transfer to an "in theatre" database for individuals posted in. That £80m (and it's associated running costs) could have been far better employed in resuscitating a disbanded infantry battalion or providing a big boost in equipment quality and quantity.
