The best one is the free cruise that I keep winning... This comes both via E-Mail or recordered phone message. The scam behind that one, like all US con companies, it is for 1 person only, you have to purchase other holiday places for at least 1 other adult at an inflated price and they insist on their holiday insurance. Add that to the cost of flights to the US and the holiday would cost at least 5 times more than it's market value. The golden rule is simple, if you didn't enter a competition, you cannot possibly win. Unsolicited mail and / or phone calls saying you have won a competition that you didn't enter are always a con. Reputable companies do not ever trade in this manner.
