I have been on habbo for over 3 years now, and at the start there was swearing and many people having 'cybersex', Since I've been there it has had two managers, Jibbi and Callie. Safety has increased more and more and it is now a very safe chat room to be on, people are made more aware that giving out personal details is dangerous and wrong, and that kids from age 11 go on it so there should be no swearing, the bobba filter also helps prevent this a lot. The help tool is also now faster and quicker and moderators reply within 30 seconds, and the habbo X's are in the welcome lounge 24/7 helping new comers. Habbo is now a more safe, less vulgar and abusive place to be.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
