I've been part of habbohotel.co.uk for about 2 years and have a positive opinion of it.
However, there are rooms which you can go into which have habbos doing 'cybersex' which is really not nice.
Habbo ensures that the hotel is a clean, safe and happy place yet they have no mention that your child could be involved in dirty conversations.
Habbo is also allowing 11-year-olds onto the hotel when really it isn't so safe, after all, the 'bobba' filter doesn't work that well, because variations of rude words can be said.

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
