Story: HP dismisses iPaq complaints
I have had trouble with my Ipaq 5550 from the very beggining. First, the pda would not fire up. Then after three months of trying to get a replacement, I ended up cracking the screen. I simply placed it in my bag, the first day off the desktop holder, when I took it out my bag the screen was busted. Also, I the product will not turn on. Is the motherboard so delicate? People say that if car manufacturers built cars like Microsoft created software we would not be able to drive our cars fearing system failures. Well if manufacturers build cars like HP build pda's we would never get in a car at all for fear the structure would collapse. What the hell, I paid good money for that thing and have yet to enjoy the use of it for more than a few hours of downloading my emails and contact list. What a waste. I will never buy another HP product again. In these times of intense competition and economic slump how can HP afford such shotty product releases and poor customer support?
