Mr Towney seems good with political cant ! How can he say that millions of Asiatic people voted for the At Large commitee when 76,000 people voted on line in total !!
The split between Asian , European and American was very well balanced and the fact that in Europe or Asia, none of the institutionnal candidates were elected slapped the face of the big firms controlling the ICANN commitee today.
So please Mr Towney, don't speak about democracy, I don't think you really want to understand what that word means !!!

When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
