Story: BT defines the broadband divide
Exactly. Our exchange has been equipped for over a year, but BT insist we are out of range. And this is not rural Cornwall, but the very expensive hi-tech area between Bracknell and Reading. I _know_ there is DSL technology on the market that can reach this far, including IDSL and SDSL. BT still holds an effective local monopoly for most of the country, but the regulators seem toothless to deal with it.
