Story: SCO vs the Linux world…What's a Linux user to do?
I agree with all the points made in this article. SCO does not and never has any basis for any of this. This will most likely be borne out in court or in whatever settlement eventually puts an end to this nonsense.
Also in a previous comment, a reader describes SCO's behavior as a good business move as opposed to simply going out of buisiness.
I can only hope that comment was facetious sarcasm. SCO's behavior is as bold, brave, and sensible as a person who discovers that they have walked into a minefield walking further in as opposed to turning back.
I suppose after all of this SCO has painted itself into a corner and there really is no going back from here. However, the next time a company wants to commit financial suicide I wish it would do so quietly and not try to take as many as it can with it.
