Story: DirectX attack expected - patch Windows now

The problem with DirectX, is that someone would be really afraid into upgrading, because of Microsoft's fame about bug free stuff. Perhaps the cure of updating to 9.0b, could be worse than threat itself, since it can ruin easily out older and slower systems, or cause unexpected incompatibilities with games software. So, to update or not to update? That's the real question. Because everything else is just for fun. Unpatched users could be attacked via e-mail sending mailicious midi files, or whatever and then it would be really too late. Anyway, let's see what;s next.
