Story: Lone file-swapper takes on recording industry

I hate to be what looks like the first person to say this but:
Has the RIAA noticed a VERY familiar trend happening? They say thier profits have plummited in the last 4 years. I say UNEMPLOYMENT has skyrocketed in the last 4 years. I say currently over 9.8million people are out of a job. I say that we (those in office.. you know.. those "smart" guys) are trying to pass bills that allow unlimited amounts of VISA workers to come into the states and work TAX FREE. I say that there currently is NO TAX incured on companies when they use off shore companies (i.e INDIA). I say that in my last 2 IT jobs I have had to train my India counterpart my job before I could collect my last paycheck. I say that certain people in office have made the official statement that we currently have too many IT jobs for USA to fill, and we should allow UNLIMITED oversea workers to do it tax free.
I say strangly enough, its all been happening since Bush has been in office.
Don't pass the blame onto the mp3 world. Sure, everyone else is correct, get with the times, or get left behind, but still, you are not losing money by mp3s. You are losing money becuase there is no money to spend. You are losing money becuase no one can BUY a cd when the national average of debt per person is over 15k! I know that I am willing and WANTING to work, 8 years+ of experiance, certs up the wazzo... but there are no jobs. I know WHY there are no jobs. I know that if you want people to BUY your DAMN cds, then you MIGHT want them to have MONEY to do so, you just MIGHT want to invest less money in cracking down on what your small non-technical mind percieves to be the problem, and throw some of your strong arm, huge pockets, bad attitude war machine engine to our govt to FORCE them to start taxing oversea workers thus making it benificial on a financial level to invest in USA workers, and to CANCEL all VISAs!
Bottom line, support the people that support you, don't just start pointing fingers in anger and stupidity.
For all the rest of you, please contact you governer, or congress man and DEMAND they start taxing for overseas work, and DEMAND they kill VISAs.... or prepare to train your replacement like I have.
