I do feel bad for the music industry being hurt by this P2P, I feel that they must be struggling bad unlike the rest of America. (let me hear a laugh) they must be fighting to eat, and cant afford there “bling bling” or might not be able to get the new 04' Ferrari. Im sure that this is what our friends at all the music labels are wanting to hear us say. But who is saying it? Come on, anyone?! Didn’t think so? When they have a hold on90% of Americas music and still want to cry about losing their money. Most of us have been laid off or are force in to making as many cut backs as possible in our life styles, but please don’t make the talented music labels and the RIAA loose a penny..But if I remember right there are artists that make this music. Not the label, I feel that this is an opportunity for artist to break free of the large grip that big music has had on them and us for as long as we can all remember. And in the day of information I see little use for these music pimps. Which would rather us not even hum their music without paying them first. We hear music we like we download it, and from that moment on you are a criminal, because you like the musical art. And we love our artist that make them. But if I am able to burn a cd then pay these thugs of the record companies I will, and old CD’s I have that I have spent too much money on I sell on ebay and ask them to do the same when they have got there joy from it. (But please don’t burn a copy be for you sell it, that’s wrong, *wink wink*) what I want to know is what’s next? “Downloading MP3's support terrorist. If the labels were smart, they would change with the times. Open there own p2p with a much larger database of music at a slightly lower quality then cd, charge a small monthly fee and use anonymous statistics about the music they make, much like our much loved spyware that has been around forever, and use these statistics for the artist benefit to zone in on reasons that they are more popular. Im sure if there was a big name to bring this up it might get some thought... then again then RIAA does seem to like the old fashion American way to make big money and just sue innocent people instead. We all can hear the united voice of our friends and family and just people from around the world, this is wrong, and if we can’t beat them legally then im happy to see them on the run because we are on the brink of a new world of music were we pay our musicians and not a greedy untalented penal pusher.
